Restless River “Klein Hemel” Chardonnay 2024

A cool-climate Chardonnay from the granite-rich slopes of the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, this wine opens with aromas of zesty lemon, white peach and a subtle hint of fresh bread and struck match.

On the palate it shows a steely, stony minerality, bright crisp acidity, and a dense core of fruit with a finely polished finish of lemon and lime juice kissed by granite salts and light oak (10% new) and 40% malolactic.

This is a refined, Burgundian-styled Chardonnay with purity and drive—elegant enough to enjoy now, yet structured for cellaring across the next 6-8 years
