Curried Lamb Chops
+/- 12 Lamb Loin Chops
Curry
Marinade:
1kg onions
chopped
15ml
salt
25ml curry
powder
15ml
turmeric
2,5ml freshly
ground pepper
250ml red
wine
500ml
vinegar
250g dried
apricots
75ml smooth
apricot jam
Mix all the
ingredients for the curry marinade together into a saucepan. Heat gently and simmer slowly for about 10 minutes.
Set aside to cool. Place chops in marinade and place in a fridge for 2-3 days. Turn daily. Braai over coals, not
too hot, as it will burn the marinade.
